Willard Boepple

Willard Boepple (b. 1945, Bennington, VT) attended UC Berkeley, RISD, and City College in NY, where he received a BFA. He has shown regularly since 1972 in New York, and in Chicago, Boston and London. Exhibitions include: Amherst College; Bennington College, Thomas Segal Gallery, Boston, Acquavella Contemporary Art, André Emmerich, Tricia Collins, Salander O'Reilly & Lori Bookstein Fine Art, NY where he is represented. He has shown regularly in London where he is represented by Broadbent Gallery.  Boepple has served as a US Dept. of State Visiting Cultural Specialist to Kenya, Jamaica, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Collections include the Metropolitan, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, The National Academy New York, the Edmonton Art Gallery, Goodwood Sculpture Park, and the National Gallery of Kenya. He is Chairman of the Triangle Artists’ Workshop and serves on the board of the Vermont Studio Center. Boepple lives and works in New York and Vermont.
